About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Engineer to join our team, focusing on the Northeast region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the HVAC industry and a proven track record in sales/ product training / Promotion. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to develop / build strong relationships with customers (distributors & dealers/contractors).

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Technical Support Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales representatives to provide technical support and training for contractors and wholesalers.
    • Offer support to sales reps and call centers, enhancing the overall customer service experience.
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
    • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Training and Development:
    • Engage actively in the Ecoer Hero Academy to refine existing training modules and develop new content, ensuring the technical proficiency of our team and clients.
    • Maintain and manage a Training trailer, equipped with the latest tools and technologies for on-site and remote training sessions.
  • Customer and After-sales Support:
    • Deliver direct technical support to customers via multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat, addressing issues related to account setup and network configuration.
    • Partner with the After-sales Support Specialist to handle technical support issues and conduct site visits, offering hands-on assistance and solutions.
  • Voice of Customer Feedback:
    • Facilitate feedback collection from contractors and wholesalers to understand customer needs and experiences better, contributing to product and service improvement.
  • Issue Resolution and Documentation:
    • Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, asking targeted questions to quickly identify the root cause.
    • Document technical issues and solutions, ensuring accurate and timely feedback is provided to customers and internal teams.
  • Product Improvement and Reporting:
    • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the technical support manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
    • Collaborate with product management and software development teams to resolve product issues and enhance offerings.
    • Commit to continuous learning, staying abreast of new technologies and product updates to provide expert advice and support.
  • Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance:
    • Guide users through the installation and setup processes, configuring software and hardware components for optimal performance.
    • Recommend solutions to improve system performance and capacity, advising on upgrades and changes as needed.
